Men United VS Prostate Cancer · 18 March 2019

Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be walking the length of the Trent and Mersey canal from Preston Brook to Shardlow, which is 92 miles, in aid of Prostatic Cancer. This walk will take over seven days and will start on the 18th of March 2019. I will be walking with Dave Bradbury, who for his troubles, is a Nottingham Forest fan, the difference between us is I go to all home and away games and he stays home and watches his team from his arm chair!  However, we are doing this walk to bring clubs and fans together and raise money to fight this illness which is now killing more men than breast cancer is killing women.

This year more than 11.000 men will die of prostate cancer, that’s more fans going to see Wigan, Brentford and Rotherham each week.

So don’t be frightened if you think you have a problem go and see your doctor, and live to see the next game.
