Please support our amazing runners at The London Marathon 2021 and together we will find a cure for Mitochondrial Disease

Story

The Lily Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.Did you know every twenty minutes a child is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease by the age of 16! There is no cure for this disease which is for many, debilitating and life limiting. Please stand with us and fight Mitochondrial Disease and fight for hope.

Thanks for taking time to visit my just giving page.

I will be running the London marathon for the wonderful charity The Lily Foundation.

This is a charity that I have attended several fund-raising events over the years and always found the people involved to be motivated, driven, and welcoming who work tirelessly for this fantastic cause.

As many of you will know I took up running 2 years ago, I find running good for the mind and obviously has great health advantages.

To say this is going to be a challenge for me is an understatement, I will put in as much training as I physically can and will be giving it my best effort as I want to raise as much money for this great charity as possible.

Please donate what ever you can as it really does help.

Thank you

Tony
