I am hopefully (injury free) going to run in my first  competitive race in a very long time. Coming back from two knee operations I never thought I would be able to run regularly again. So the British Airways 5k fun run is my target and here is why..................

Cancer has touched most of our lives I am sure, and recently I was saddened by the loss of a friends son Alex Barker. Alex had his whole life ahead of him when he passed away at the very young age of 19. He was charismatic, intelligent and engaging. This should not happen, it is so unfair. Please donate what you can to prevent this terrible disease taking such young lives and indeed any life.
