MBNA Chester Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·

We provide high quality care and support for adults who have palliative and end of life care needs, whilst also supporting their families/carers. The aim is to provide care and support which will improve their quality of life and facilitate a peaceful and dignified death within the patients home.

Story

This year I'm taking on the 2021 Chester Marathon in aid of Hospice at Home to help support the amazing work they carry out, supporting patients and their families through some of the most difficult times imaginable. This years marathon is on Sunday 3rd October, and I'm already hard at work with my training in preparation for the big event.

Of course, any support you are able to provide for an amazing charity such as Hospice at Home is much appreciated, and If any of my friends and colleagues wish to join me on any of my training runs between now and October for some moral support you are more than welcome to try and keep up!

A little bit about Hospice at Home...

Hospice at Home provides high quality care and support for adults who have palliative and end of life care needs, whilst also supporting their families and carers. As a charity we rely on the kindness and generosity of our local community. Although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise over 80% of our running costs in order to ensure that this vital help is available when needed and remains free of charge to patients and their families. With your support we will be able to provide 'More Care to More People' - thank you.
