The John Hunter Childrens Hospital is a specialised tertiary referral paediatric hospital in Newcastle, providing complex medical, surgical, major trauma and neonatal care services for Northern NSW.

Story

The Childrens Hospital in Newcastle, one of three childrens hospitals in NSW, will over the course of a year see almost 25,000 children and young people present to the emergency department, have 9,000 admitted to hospital and perform over 100,000 occasions of service through outpatient clinics.

The team at the John Hunter Children’s Hospital (JHCH) have provided my family with wonderful support, education and guidance since 2011 when our daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

From 3 March 2023 I will be attempting the Goggins Challenge, running 4 miles every 4 hours for a total of 48 miles (77km) in 48 hours to raise funds for the JHCH. Any donation you are able to make is greatly appreciated.

Donations above $2 are tax deductible.
