On Sunday 4th May I participated in the Donisthorpe Hall Endurance Challenge. This challenge was to walk up to 60 miles over a 24 hour period through the area of Leeds. So at 9.00 am on Sunday morning I set off with another 27 people in an attempt to walk as far as possible. This event was to raise money for Donisthorpe Hall - an elderly care home for 183 residents requiring residential, nursing, dementia and respite care - which has a place in my heart.
