My Grandson William was born with the main arteries of his heart the wrong way round. He had to have open heart surgery at only a week old which has led to a catastrophic chain of events, including severe brain damage and life limiting epilepsy. When my son and daughter-in-law were at the end of their tether and no longer knew where to turn to, Julia's House offered them a life line. The care and respite they have been able to give to my family has been invaluable and allowed them to be able to move forward and cope a little more with the complications that Williams condition throws at them.
