At last, after a few very difficult years, the London Marathon is finally back to normal and is scheduled to take place at the usual (pre-COVID) time of year on Sunday 23^rd April 2023. For numerous reasons, the past few years have been particularly challenging, which slowly but surely, we continue to overcome.

Speaking of overcoming challenges slowly but surely, I am extremely fortunate to be given another opportunity to run the London Marathon for such a meaningful cause. This one is extra special as I will be running with my son “Ben” who shares my commitment in helping people less fortunate than ourselves.

Hopefully, we will complete the London Marathon together on Sunday 23^rd April 2023 and our intentions are simple; to complete the course the same day without any injury, to enjoy every second with friends and family along the way, and of course to raise as much as possible for children who are faced with challenges most of us can only imagine. Sight is a wonderful gift that most of us take for granted! 

As always, together, we are raising money for St Vincent's which is a specialist school for sensory impairment and other needs (www.stvin.com). This is a small charity (Charity Registration No 1102657) that really appreciates every single donation that is made, regardless of size. Any donation you can afford to make will really make such a big difference to the children of St Vincent's.
