Volunteers of Rowans Hospice along with nurses from Macmillian and Marie curie helped my aunt look after my nan in the last months of her life. This involved being available at all hours of the day at the end of a phone to provide any support from a false distress call, to providing medication and helping to change and wash my grandma. This was all done by nurses going out of their way in good nature to care for someone.

Therefore I am doing a 12 mile walk with friend and family to raise money for this charity as a thank you for their kindness and good heart of doing what they do! Words cannot describe how grateful I am for the help they provided and how nice each of them are!
