The sponsored walk for charity takes place between the 24th and 31st August 2019, starting from the Tyneside Irish Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne and ending 8 days later at Celtic Park (aka Paradise) in Glasgow.  The walk is in memory of Glenn Dixon who loved Celtic and the TIC, and who in turn was loved by all who met him.  

We hope to raise awareness of mental health issues and money for Tyneside and Northumberland Mind and Celtic FC Foundation through sponsorship and donations.  All proceeds go to charity.

The routes, with approximate times and distances have been posted on Facebook and Twitter to help volunteers decide how many days they are able to commit to. Some hardy souls will be walking the whole route - approximately 150+ miles.
