I am raising money for Dawning Family Services' (DFS) Dusk 'Til Dawn event! DFS has served Tampa and Hillsborough County for over 41 years, providing housing and services to families with children, who are currently homeless or at risk of homelessness. 

I have been working for DFS for over a year now, and I see firsthand how the housing crisis has affected families here in Tampa Bay. Our case managers work so hard to ensure families who contact us in crisis are heard, understood, and helped.

The need is great. In the last two years family homelessness in Hillsborough County has risen by 20%! 

In Florida alone, 6,000 families face homelessness every night. 

I believe that every child deserves a safe place to sleep, a place to call home and hope for a brighter future.
