On 7th November 2015 I lost my amazing dad to pancreatic cancer. I have always dreaded this date, and this year I decided I wanted to do something positive on this day to remember him. 

I discovered that the Portland Coastal marathon is taking place on 7th November this year, running around the area he used to live and love. This is an extremely difficult, all terrain, extreme elevation marathon. I am not a runner and I have never run a marathon, but I am going to try my best to finish it and raise money for 2 amazing charities, and make a positive change to the day I always dread.
