Ello ello! Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page and taking the time to read....

My name's Alex, I am partaking in the 2022 London Marathon (eek!) and raising money for Princess Alice Hospice.

The Surrey based hospice cared for my beautiful Grandma, Sandra Torrens, when she was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2018.

During this very tough period for my family and I, the hospice were absolutely remarkable, visiting every day and providing amazing care and support for my Grandma until she very sadly passed away in June 2018.

I have been running for the last 5 years, but during the pandemic this hobby became my way of maintaining focus, determination and most importantly… happiness and positivity in myself! And as the world opens up again I have no intention of stopping.

The London Marathon has always been a dream of mine but never something I thought I'd fulfil!

So - let's raise some dosh for a great cause and support as many families going through difficult times. I promise to give my all to my training and my marathon day on Sunday 2nd October 2022 and make my Grandma and you proud.
