We support people & communities in crisis to empower them

Story

I've had a few challenges with mental health crises over the years. The biggest one was after an injury that took over a year to recover from. When they happened, Pieta provided help no questions asked and helped me back on my feet, and taught me how to deal with day to day challenges before they became a crisis. I'm still here today thanks to Pieta, and I'm grateful in the knowledge Pieta will be there in future. Ensuring Pieta can do its work is where we can help.

I was wondering how I could pitch in and give something back. That's when I thought of cycling down to Seville via Santiago and back on my trusty eBike (I'm older and in poor shape) on a completely self funded tour.
Why don't you join me on my travels? I'll keep you updated on the itinerary as it develops from my day of departure, pictures taken along the way and of cities I travel through, and a bit of commentary here and there. It'll be quite an adventure we can go on together.

Please pitch in for Pieta. In their words:

"Our mission is a world where suicide, self-harm and stigma have been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance. By supporting us you will allow us to strive to make this a reality. Without your support we would not have been able to give hope to over 50,000 people since we first opened our doors in 2006.All of our services (one-to-one counselling, 24 hour helpline, SBLO Service, Training and Education) are provided free of charge. This is only possible because of you."
