Totteridge FC in memory of Eric Chapman

Eric passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly while plane spotting overseas early in August, he was not just a long standing friend but also co-founder of Totteridge (youth) FC along with myself in 1996 with his son Michael joining my own son Paul becoming some of the first players to join the club.
He has been chairman since 1997 and Club Welfare Officer since the position was introduced by the FA and was very much a part of the history, structure, culture and integrity of the club where he worked tirelessly and selflessly to keep the club on a good financial standing, promote excellent values and ensure the club upheld FA regulations regarding child welfare – he will be greatly missed around the club as he will on the terrace at Wycombe Wanderers where he was a season ticket holder for many years.
His family have chosen Myeloma UK as their nominated charity after Eric's wife suffered for some time from this form of cancer before passing away in 2015
Myeloma is a blood cancer arising from plasma cells. At any one time there are
around 17,500 people living with myeloma in the UK. It accounts for 15 per cent
of blood cancers, and two per cent of all cancers. Myeloma mainly affects those
over the age of 65, however it has been diagnosed in people much younger.
