In 2014 some of the team took part in an English Channel relay, it was a difficult journey plagued with injuries, sea sickness & hurricanes!  albeit a successful crossing!

So, it was decided we would form team 'Touch both sides' & attempt to swim to France & why not back again!  We are a determined team & training hard, including swimming in the sea all year round! 

We are a mixed ability team from different sporting backgrounds & not all swimming.  We also bring our own fears with us which include cold water, Jellyfish & sea sickness!    Perfect for an English Channel crossing huh!

Alzheimer's is something close to the team's heart's, it is a heart breaking disease to witness, so please spare a few pennies & we will do our very best to forget our own fears & touch both sides!

We will be one of the first teams to attempt the crossing across the English Channel in 2016, Dover to France & back to Dover! 

Our pilot is Stuart Gleeson with Sea Leopard,  they will escort us safely across one of the  busiest shipping channels in the world!
