Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm Jemina, and I'd be so incredibly grateful if you could donate.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We were planning on taking part in the North West's full Tough Mudder this year, just for the sheer fun of it. We figured if we were going to make like fools lacking in good judgement anyway, we might as well do it for a good cause.

Initially I was a little unwilling to take part on this venture when my partner Peter first mentioned it to me. We've heard a lot about it, it's called Tough Mudder for a reason. Physically challenging and guaranteed to leave you head to toe in thick mud, fabulous!

"Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile mud and obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit. With no podiums, winners, or clocks to race against, it’s not about how fast you can cross the finish line. Rather, it’s a challenge that emphasizes teamwork, camaraderie, and accomplishing something almost as tough as you are."

So I had a couple of conditions. First, we'd do it for charity. We chose Save the Children; a fantastic charity which does amazing work, helping children suffering worldwide and giving them a future.

"Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. In the UK and around the world, we give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share."

If that's not a fantastic cause worth fighting for, I don't know what is.

The second condition that I put to my dear boyfriend was that we would take part, without a doubt oh yes, I'll see it through to the very end but... we would do it in costume, muahahaha :)

So here we are pictured in all our finery. As you can see, he opted for Bat Man whilst I favoured the ever fabulous Wonder Woman. Please donate to our page and we'll ensure to make as big a fool of ourselves as possible ;)

Thanks for reading! Xxx
