Charity Registration No. 1081427

Booths is planning an epic charity bike ride to promote mental well-being and raise £10,000 for mental health charity, MIND.

The tour, which takes place over 5 days across Booths Country begins on Monday 30th September to Friday 4th October and visits all 28 Booths stores, as well as 4 sites across Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Cheshire and Greater Manchester.

The idea for the event comes from Nigel Murray, COO of Booths, a keen cyclist wanting to raise awareness of the beneficial links between nutrition, physical well-being and mental well-being.

''Good mental health is essential to cope with daily stress and accomplish personal and professional goals. Exercise, balance, a healthy diet and plenty of sleep are essential to maintaining good well-being. Cycling is an easy entry exercise and a good way to relive the stresses of modern life. This tour is about raising awareness about mental health in the workplace.''

The tour has 5 stages, finishing with an easy cycle along the Guild Wheel open for Booths colleagues, friends and family who would like to support the tour.

The Tour O'Booths is as follows:
