Story
The amazing George Zographou aka Zoggy, tragically and suddenly died on the 16th August 2017 of Meningitis B whilst attending a festival; for which was misdiagnosed and meant that he died alone on the floor of a welfare tent.
We aim as a team to educate and inspire others whilst making positive changes to the Public Health in this country. And with that, we're in hope that our country will have a wider knowledge, awareness and reduce the many people that die yearly from Meningitis B.
We have decided to chanel our grief into something positive and make a change by cycling annually in remembrance of George. This year hits the team with a 60 mile local ride from the Zographou’s family home, passing the Meningitis Now HQ in Stroud and ending at the Crematorium.
