“During the past four years of intense conflict between Government forces and Houthi rebels have left tens of thousands dead or injured including at least 17,700 civilians” (UN, 2019).
Around 14 million people in Yemen, or half the total population of the country, are facing “pre-famine conditions,”, and more than 22 million require humanitarian assistance (The World Bank, 2018).
The Yemeni people are facing the world's largest humanitarian crisis, going through shelling, shortages of clean drinking water, lack of health facilities, a growing wave of famine, a return of cholera and much more.
We have partnered with Yemen Aid (www.yemenaid.org) in order to raise money towards funding key projects helping Yemenis on-ground. Yemen Aid provides much needed humanitarian assistance and resources to the Yemeni people, regardless of race, political affiliation, ancestry or religion, in a timely and efficient manner in order to positively change lives, and ultimately save lives.
We believe in a brighter future for Yemen, but now we have to concentrate on helping those who are needing our help the most. Share this campaign, ask your friends and relatives to donate and explore more about our campaign on our website: www.toyemenwithlove.org
