The intrepid team from Travis Perkins plc taking part in this challenge are Neil Ainsworth, Mark Dolphin, James Saynor and Steve Johnston.

We are delighted to be taking part in the "Beat the Brecons" challenge on behalf of Whizz-Kidz. It's a tremendous cause and we're hoping to raise lots of money for this inspiring charity. Within a 12 hour period, we are going to climb Pen Y Fan (5 hours), cycle the Taff Trail (4 hours) and canoe the Pontsticill Reservoir (3 hours).  Even for our experienced team members, this is a daunting challenge.   

Whizz-Kidz is a charity that provides disabled children and young people with vital mobility equipment and life journey services. It gives them opportunities to build friendships, have fun, and provides training to help them gain skills for a brighter future.

Some of our team have families and some are just about to start one, yet we all feel passionate about providing these children and young people with the things they need to achieve their goals in life.

We feel incredibly thankful and lucky that we can enjoy loads of things with our kids such as swimming, football, walking and simply going shopping.  It is something we take for granted and we don't always appreciate how lucky we are.  Whizz-Kidz has inspired us to make a difference to the lives of young people that do not enjoy the same amount of freedom as us.
