On the 23rd of April I will be running another marathon, this time the real London marathon and I will be running in memory of Doreen Ingham.

I met Doreen as she was also a member of  Northamptonshire Morris Minor club that Gary and I are members of and we were fortunate to spend several wonderful holidays in her company. Doreens laugh was infectious and she had a sparkle about her that you just warmed to.

Doreen lost her battle against cancer in January, but Age UK were able to offer her and her family care and support during those last weeks. The care offered by Age UK during this important time was given free of charge and I would like to raise at least a £1,000 so other families can continue to benefit from their amazing service.

I know I am again asking your help but every pound we can raise for Age UK will directly benefit other families who are in need of their support.
