Tracey's Warrington EHM page

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running my first ever half marathon at Warrington EHM on 18 September 2016 to raise money for an amazing charity, Marie Curie.
Out of the blue, my normally healthy, fit and sporty 83 yr dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour on 13 August 2015 after initially being admitted to Salford Royal Hospital thinking dad was having a stroke. Despite undergoing surgery on 16 August 2015 we were informed that the tumour had spread too much around dad's brain. He came home at the beginning of September 2015 but sadly after just 6 weeks dad passed away surrounded by family at his bedside at home.
Marie Curie were absolutely amazing during my dad's last 3 weeks at home and cared for him throughout the night while supporting us and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I can never express enough my gratitude to Marie Curie and just wanted to help raise funds to try and repay some of the work and efforts of everyone at Marie Curie.
They truly are living angels!
