Story

Darren will be participating in Ups and Downs SW's challenge 21 fund-raiser to raise funds and awareness ahead of World Down Syndrome Day on 21st March 2022.

Thank you to Andy Arnott and the L2D team for allowing Darren to undertake his challenge during their Drift Day at Standlake Arena on 20th March.

We just had to encompase Darrens love for cars and racing therefore Darren will complete 21 Drift laps at the side of #465 Michael Lee in his e36 BMW.

Ups and Downs Southwest is a local charity supporting children and young people with Down syndrome. The Covid-19 situation has meant that many of our fundraising events have been cancelled leaving us with a deficit for this year and beyond. By signing up to our My Challenge 21 you can raise vital funds to help us continue with our service. Raising £100 pays for an initial visit to 2 new family offering them practical and emotional support.Raising £200 pays for the completion of 2 Disability Living Allowance Form's, a vital benefit for many of our families. Raising £300 pays for our school liason worker to accompany 2 families to a school meeting, including pre and post meeting support. Together we can make a difference to these families lives.Thank you for your support.
