I have chosen to cover 54 miles (114048 Steps)During the months of October/November 2022: the average number of miles covered by a Wakefield ambulance in a 12hour shift!

By supporting this event, you will be helping YAS Charity to:-* Engage Communities* Support Colleagues & Volunteers* Save Lives 




About the campaign

About the charity

Saving more lives across Yorkshire and The Humber, by enabling EVERYONE to respond to a medical emergency in the appropriate way and by supporting those who deal with such emergencies. With your help we can continue funding: • A Free First Aid Awareness Training Programme – life saving training for those who would not usually have access • Restart a Heart Day – CPR training for secondary school children, 30,000 children trained in 2017 • Community Public Access Defibrillators – life saving equipment installed in partnership with local communities • YAS BASIC Volunteer Doctors – volunteer doctors who give their time to respond to major trauma incidents • Employee health and wellbeing projects – supporting Yorkshire Ambulance Service employees who help save lives everyday
