Story

Come Along For The Ride: thecyclingnurse.co.uk

My name is Tracey Hill and I'm a nurse at York District Hospital where I work in the dermatology department.

Current Fundraising Challenge

In May 2022 Andy. and I will set of on a 2000 mile cycle ride from Amsterdam to Gibraltar as the next phase of our fundraising project for this extraordinary organisation. This project is called ‘Ride to the Rock’ and we aim to raise a further £30,000 for Doctors Without Borders. We would love to have your support in this venture.

In 2016 I cycled over 4000 miles from San Francisco to New York on an unsupported, self funded bike ride. This was a massive personal challenge for an inexperienced cyclist. My aim is to raise money to help those who face conflict, epidemic and natural disasters daily. Among the challenges that I faced were cycling across the Nevada and Utah deserts and over the Rocky mountains, camping in some tough places without the usual comforts but this was all overcome.

TOGETHER with your support we can save lives.
