I spent a few months of my life in the martlets caring for Linda,my mum.i was young and stubborn and wanted to do everything for her bathing dressing brushing we shared some beutufull moments facilitated by the staff.i helped her plan her funeral and wheeled her into the garden to chat about life and eastenders.

I had my daughters bday in her room the staff where amazing,at the end they taught me what to do and I had the privilege of holding her hand as she passed.

Devastating the loss has been to me I've felt alone every since but so blessed to have known such love.

My kids had counselling there after,and I've been back for light a life a few times,such a special place
