Snowden At Night 2022 · 6 August 2022

Our team will be climbing Mount Snowdon (1,805m) at night to watch the sunrise over Snowdonia National Park. Trekking Mount Snowdon during the daytime forms a great challenge, but by using only torches to light your way is another level!

Story

We are climbing Mount Snowdon at NIGHT to raise valuable funds for St Raphael's Hospice! Thank you for donating to this special cause. At St Raphael's Hospice, they strive to improve the lives of those affected by terminal or life-limiting illnesses, giving them and their carers the confidence to cope and enjoy the best quality of life possible. The Hospice needs £6 million a year to run, relying heavily on public donations, legacies and fundraising to continue to make an enormous difference to the lives of 1,000 terminally-ill patients every year. They are not state-funded, even though every one of their patients is a NHS patient. They only receive about 25% of their costs from the NHS and the remainder more than £4 million a year must be raised by themselves.
