Since 2015 me and Stephen have trekked Patagonia, Matchu Pitchu, cycled 600 US West Coast Kilometres, and Stephen has cycled the Rockies - all for Velindre Cancer Centre.

After our West Coast Cycle, having raised over £53,000, we were planning to hang up our fundraising buckets for a while, and take a break. However, unfortunately in June 2018 we lost our beautiful friend Anne and shortly afterwards  we also lost another friend, Nick Machin to Cancer.

 Anne, my trekking butty and  an inspirational Ambassador for Velindre, had been trying to persuade me to do Velindre's trek to Nepal.  To be honest, I hadn't been keen.......but things can change so quickly, life and friendship is precious.

So we are doing Nepal in February 2019, are getting Team Shane Together for Tour of Pembrokeshire in May 2019 and will continue to fundraise for Velindre, as you can't take a break from fighting cancer.
