After hearing about the memory walk i knew it was something i had to do. My wonderful Gran sadly passed away after suffering from alzheimer's for many years. After the disease started to take control of her and she couldnt cope on her own any longer my mum and dad took her in and we looked after her for 3 years before her passing. My Gran was one of the most inspirational and caring women you could ever meet and although she was going through this horrible disease she never complained and was never down hearted. even towards the end. I can honestly say that she is my hero, and I am doing this walk for her.
