What happened to Nicola in Hattersley touched me for several reasons, not only should no one have to face such horror in their work, whether they are in the police force or not; but it was in my surrounding neighbourhood, one I know to be friendly and full of wonderful people. Nicolas father has asked for people to take part in this challenge before he heads off on a very difficult arctic walk. i do run a lot, however totalling 250 miles in 125 days will be very, very hard and I'm nervous about ensuring I meet this challenge!
