Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a group who are not growing old gracefully and we are making the most of every single moment.  We all know how precious life is and that you have to make the most of it.

We are raising funds for the most amazing school - Herons Dale Primary School which is a small school for children with a wide range of additional needs.  I have the pleasure of working at the school and can see first hand what a difference this school makes to the lives of the children that attend.

As we all know funding is being cut and everyone is having to find creative ways to help raise funds.  I think taking part in a 5 mile mud run is a very creative way of raising money.  We will start as a team, go round as a team and finish as a team.  This will be the fourth time I have entered a team into this race and each time we are close to being last to cross the finish line.  We dont care in our minds we are winners anyway, we will have a blast and we will find mud in places you really shouldn't for at least a week.

I passionately believe that all children should have access to quality outside learning and in a hands on way and have seen with my own eyes the difference this can make to children.

We know times are tight but if you can find it in your heart to make a donation we would all be so very grateful.

From all of us thankyou for taking the time to read this and a huge thankyou for anything you can donate.

Love from Tracy, Jo, Steve, Ellie, Emma and Kara :)
