Some of you may be aware that over the last year I have been having treatment for Skin Cancer. While one was being treated another appeared. After trying different treatments I had 2 cancers that were removed this week and the care that I was given was excellent!!
I have been advised that there is a 50% chance of more cancers appearing so I am swimming to raise awareness and funding for new treatments.
On your marks.... Swimathon is back in 2018!
Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are teaming up and heading down to the pool for Swimathon 2018 – thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge.
