I'm the team captain for Crafty Dodgers, we have been doing relay for life for a number of years, but started my own team about 5 years ago. My Sister is the main reason we raise money for cancer research as she had childhood leukaemia twice, she fought & she won. Since then we have had a number of family or friends lost to this disease, and we hope what we do to raise money will some day help find a cure.

While raising funds is a serious thing, we have found that being part of Relay for life is a fun way to do it. We raise money all year round with many events, such as coffee mornings, table top sales, and a halloween party. We also sell many of the crafts we make as between us we make a lot of craft items hence our team name!
