1625 Independent People work with young people who are homeless, leaving care or at risk of homelessness in Bristol and the South West. We provide safe and stable accommodation, as well as practical and emotional support to develop independent living skills.

Story

At the beginning of the year Fran put a post on Facebook asking who wanted to join in with some sort of challenging adventure that could potentially raise some money for a good cause... This is the result!

The Alternative Trans Wales Triathlon:

  • Walking the Welsh 3000's (2 days)
  • Cycling to Hoarwithy on the River Wye ( 2 days)
  • Paddling to Monmouth by canoe (1.5 days)
  • Cycling to Chepstow (0.5 days)

We will be leaving Bristol on Friday 21st July and completing the challenge in just 6 days. Finishing on Thursday the 27th July.

1625 Independent People work with young people who have run into problems and need help getting back on track so they can manage on their own in their communities.

Thank you for taking the time to find out what we are doing - check out 1625 Independent People's website to see all the important work they do!

Thanks!
