Story

Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

We are a team of 8 ladies and our fantastic support team of 4 (wouldn't be possible without them!!!) who all work together in A&E.  We decided that as that wasn't stressful enough we'd try a different challenge in 2018!!!

So in December 2017 we all had a moment of feeling very overconfident about our physical abilities and signed up to the OXFAM trailwalker 2018 challenge.

Sadly due to weather conditions the 2018 event was cancelled by the organisers, but all was not lost as we attempted our own 100km challenge in lovely Norfolk on the event weekend instead walking from happisburgh to hunstanton.  We were beaten by the heat and had to call it a day at 80km in 24 hours but we thought given the conditions that was pretty good, and it was excellent training for Trailwalker 2019!!!

So all sponsorship raised in 2018 will be carried over to our Trailwalker 2019 challenge.  Basically were going to walk 100 km (hopefully in under 30 hours) all in one go probably in July 2019.  That's right no sleep!!  We are raising money for OXFAM and the Gurkha welfare trust and would be grateful for any donations no matter how small to help us meet our fundraising goal and make the blisters all worthwhile.  You can even track us online as we do the big walk!!!  Thanks for your support, it means a lot to the team!!!
