Assalamualaykum 

Following on from last years huge success of our Yemen crisis appeal, this year we have decided to raise money for Ummah Welfare Trust’s Gaza Trauma centre for Children.

The centre provides psychological support, counselling, recreational activities and meals to over 100 children and adolescents. A counsellor, six psychologists and two teachers work with the children, ensuring that they are given best chance to succeed in Gaza's difficult environment.

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Those who are merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you.”

On Saturday 21 July and Sunday 22 July we will also be selling a box of 6 large filled doughnuts for £10. Flavors include Nutella, home made coffee caramel and raspberry jam.
