Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Travel Village team & friends are taking on a challenge... the UK National 3 Peaks Challenge. We'll be hiking up Ben Nevis (1,345m), Scafell Pike (978m) AND Snowdon (1,085m) in 24 hours. That means hiking up Scafell Pike in the middle of the night!!

Being novice hikers, we need all the motivation and encouragement we can get. We've begun training... and reality has most definitely sunk in.

The Team : Jessica Nuttall, Sam Hellowell, Jess Clayton, Lewis Johnston, Jenny Jones & Jenny Wade.... and the drivers, Phil Nuttall & Paula Nuttall.

Why raise £3,250?

We're fundraising for Brian House Children's Hospice - our LOCAL children's hospice that supports families across the Fylde Coast! It honestly is a FANTASTIC cause.

It costs around £1.2 million each year to remain open... that's more than £3,250 a day (hence, the target of £3,250).  Brian House receive ZERO government funding.... and the care is outside of the NHS.

Brian House provides respite, palliative and end of life care for children & young people with life-limiting conditions. They care for youngsters both during the day & overnight, and they support their families at every step of what can be an unpredictable journey.

We're also taking part in the Fylde Coast £50 Challenge for Trinity Hospice & Brian House!
