I've decided to try to help promote good causes through the weather station site because there are lots of people who come to visit and it just feels like the right thing to do.

The Trearddur Bay Hotel is hosting a bonfire and firework display on Sunday 3 November 2019 which is free for people to attend.  All they ask is that those who are so minded make a donation to Cancer Research UK.

I shall point the cameras I run from the weather station in the general direction of the hotel on the evening of the fireworks so that people who are not in Trearddur Bay may watch the display.  I'm not sure how it will work but at least we'll have a go and I hope we get a few people taking part.

I'll put a link to this fund-raising page on the site so that those who wish to make a donation to the Hotel's charity of choice may do so.
