Hi! Here we are honored to lead a fundraising campaign for Marie Curie to increase society’s general awareness of the charity and to raise funds for Marie Curie’s terminal illness care.

This campaign, Tree of Life, stems from the meaning of trees as a symbol of life. While a tree grows old, it bears the seeds that contain its very essence and, in this way, the tree becomes immortal. Having this idea in mind, we conducted an online challenge that we encourage all participants of the campaign to express their emotions and love by holding pictures of themselves and someone they have lost and in front of a tree, and share their memories with us. In this difficult time, we believe that solidarity will eventually help us to be strong; and we hope that by sharing our personal stories with each other, we will build a different perception towards terminal illness and death which our lives are finite but our love is infinite.

At the same time, we would like to support Marie Curie’s petition to have “a national day to reflect, grieve and remember”. This petition aims to call for the UK Government to recognise the tragic loss of many lives since the national lockdown began with a national day to reflect, grieve, and remember.
