Event: Trek26 Brecon Beacons - 13 miles (Sunday), on 5 September 2021
Journey through a spectacular area of wild moorland, tumbling waterfalls and sweeping mountain slopes in the Brecon Beacons. Trek for loved ones, and raise money so together we can find a cure.

Story

In around 6 weeks time me and my colleagues from the care and capacity team at Lodders will be doing a 13 mile trek over the Brecon Beacons to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.

Please give as much or as little as you can and help us fund the vital research!

Every 3 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with dementia. There’s currently no cure and so much work is needed to continue to research treatments and also provide support for people living with dementia and their families. It’s something we deal with in a professional capacity but its also likely to affect many of us personally in some way and at some time, so please do help out!

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
