On September 5th 2021 i will walk 13 miles through the Brecon Beacons, starting at Brecon showground ascending 2700ft to the peak of Pen-y-Fan(2907ft above sea level)followed by Cribyn(2610ft above sea level) before returning via the valley to the finish line at the showground.

I am doing this challenge in memory of my Grandma who after several years with dementia passed away in 2014. Dementia has a huge impact on the lives of those who experience it, as well as their carers and families. 

The Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
