We were originally taking part in the the Stone henge Challenge. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to change the venue. Anyone who has donated to the original page, rest assured all proceeds are being donated to the charity. Anyhow, every year we challenge ourselves.  This year the challenge found us. Because my lovely dad sadly passed away at the end of last year after suffering with this awful disease. And after looking after him in the later stages of his life, it makes you very aware of what it strips the sufferers of. And also the family around them. So my lovely daughter (who has herself been very poorly) my husband and my eldest grandson are now taking part in the cotswolds trek 26 challenge. So although my page says no donations have been received, personally i have so far raised £145.00 and our team Travis Trekkers have so far raised £315.00. So we are well on our way. Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.Thank you for choosing to trek for Alzheimer's Society, together we can be help and hope to everyone affected by dementia.
