We are taking on a challenge with the Alzheimer’s Society to
trek Hadrian’s Wall this summer to raise much needed funds for their charity.  Our beautiful mum has been diagnosed with this condition and it’s fair to say things are becoming pretty tough for us as a family. Our mum was gentle, kind, patient and understanding but sadly these qualities are gradually slipping away and are being replaced by a personality that we don’t recognise. Our love for her and her love for us is unwavering and we know we will always be there for each other. She is scared of what the future holds, we are scared for what the future holds but together we will find a way to move forward. Mum was born and brought up in the North East and so we felt this challenge was a fitting way to support a charity who are currently supporting us.
