Story
This will be my 3rd year of raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society by doing the trek26. So far I have managed to raise £3,827 which I am not only really proud of but also eternally grateful to everyone who has ever donated to my challenge. Your continued support and generosity is making such a difference so from the bottom of my heart, thank you ❤️.
My mum died at the age of 68 to this horrendous disease. It literally stripped her of everything she ever was. She was bed bound for weeks before she finally took her last breath. She couldn't speak, drink or eat. Honestly one of the worst things I have had to experience in my life time. This is my reasoning for doing these walks. To try and make a difference and try to help find a cure and treatment for the millions of people effected, in the hope that my children and your children never ever have to whitness what we did.
This year we take on the Jurassic Coast. Last year was classed as very tough and in all honesty that was an understatement. It almost broke me. However, I am still here to tell the story and love a challenge, so big girl britches firmly pulled up and let the training commence.
As always I will keep you all updated on my Facebook ❤️.
