Austin family are taking part in Trek26LakeDistrict2024-26miles

Our dad, Keith, was diagnosed with vascular dementia in 2021. Since then, he has changed from a wonderful, caring, inspirational and funny man into a completely different person. Together, we are trying to raise funds for the work of Alzheimer's Society to help them to find ways to cure these diseases, and to help families like us come to terms with the heartbreak and loss that they bring.

Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.Thank you for choosing to trek for Alzheimer's Society, together we can be help and hope to everyone affected by dementia.
