In May I will be part of Team Walking for Lizzi with Love walking 26 miles (or trying to) to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society for our beautiful Sister/Mum/Wife/Auntie/Friend Lizzi who has been taken from us by the very cruel disease that is dementia. Lizzi has always been a massive part of our family and been a caring, loving, fun and supportive member of both the wider family as well as being all these wonderful things to her own beautiful family, so we are all obviously devastated that our beautiful sister has been overtaken by this terrible disease. After we lost our own lovely Mum back in 2009, Lizzi also took over this role and held our huge family together with her love, generosity, supportiveness and kindness and we all miss this part of her that has been stolen from us by dementia.

No one can ever replace our lovely Lizzi but we as a family are going to try and raise some money to support the wonderful work that the Alzheimer’s Society do in trying to combat this destructive disease so we can all try and share our precious love ones for longer.

We all love you always Lizzi and know you will be with us as you are in all our hearts forever xx
