My mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s 3 years ago. She’s only 72 and her day to day struggle with her memory is so sad to watch. She’s a carer for my dad who had a stroke 7 years ago and also has a heart condition. Despite their awful situation, they continue to smile and laugh every day. Alzheimer’s slowly takes away the person you know and I pray that one day they’ll find a cure to prevent the suffering of more families.
