Story
On 24th May, I will be walking 13 miles along the Northumberland Coast with The City Strollers (my sister Caroline, brother-in-law, Tim, niece, Evie, brother, Chris, and nephew Tom) to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. We’re walking in memory of Tim's parents, Joe and Sandra, who both suffered from this cruel disease in their later years.
Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
The Society is made up of people with dementia, carers, trusted experts, campaigners, researchers and clinicians. They are the UK’s largest collective force of people with unparalleled knowledge and over 40 years of experience addressing the biggest challenges facing people living with dementia.
