Story
On July 18th, I’ll be joining thousands of people to walk 13 miles along the Northumberland Coast, raising money and awareness for Alzheimer’s and dementia.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart. I’m walking for my Mommar, Lillian, who is living with dementia.
Seeing her navigate this condition has shown me just how much dementia changes everything—not only for her, but for everyone who loves her. There are days that feel clouded and confusing, and then there are those incredibly special moments when she’s truly present with us again. Those moments mean more than I can put into words, and they’re a big part of why I’m doing this.
I’m raising money to support vital research and care services that bring dignity, comfort, and support to people living with dementia and the families around them. Every step I take is for her, and for all those continuing to live with this condition.
Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world.
